    Chris Blackmore is a Senior University Teacher and Researcher in the Mental Health group in ScHARR, University of Sheffield. His main research interest is in the role of emotions in online learning, and more generally the impact of the internet on well-being.

  • Dr. Mark Stevenson (UoS)

    Mark Stevenson is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Sheffield. His work focuses on building computer systems to interpret text and to assist people in accessing the information contained in collections of documents. His work has been funded from a range of sources including the EPSRC, European Union, DSTL and Google.

    Adam Poulston is working towards a PhD within the Sheffield NLP group, supervised by Dr. Mark Stevenson. His research investigates what can be inferred about a person based on their social media presence.

    For over 25 years Nick's career has spanned the fields of graphic design, creative direction and art. He was part of the Designers Republic team for 15 years and launched creative agency Human in 2007. The studio collaborates with institutions and global brands and has held exhibitions in Europe, Japan, Brazil and the United States.

    Charlie Barnes is Project Co-ordinator for Ignite Imaginations - a leading creative arts provider currently celebrating its 10th year of delivering high quality visual arts and creative writing to over 5000 people annually. The organisation develops skills, confidence, sociability and most of all the feeling that everyone is an artist.
